Roman Architecture

Period: 6th Century B.C. – 4th Century A.D.

Two aspects of Roman Architecture flourished in all works of Roman Architecture:

  • Dome
  • Arches

Romans developed new materials in building e.g. concrete & blocks, which enabled much of the new and advanced types of buildings which flourished during the Roman Empire.
